Exiphore is licensed to your organisation under a written agreement held by your administrator. That agreement governs the licence, support and liability. This page describes how the software behaves in use; where the two differ, the signed agreement prevails.
Exiphore produces forensic measurements and a finding with a stated confidence interval and stated limitations. It does not produce an expert opinion. No automated result is released as a conclusion until a named examiner has reviewed and signed it, and nothing in the platform permits that signature to be applied automatically or by an API credential.
You remain responsible for the lawfulness of the material you submit and for the use made of any finding.
Every action is written to a hash-chained audit log, including reads. Exhibits are sealed on intake and the chain of custody is append-only. Records are superseded and archived rather than deleted, so that the history of an examination remains answerable after the fact.
